Fourteen Israeli soldiers were killed and many others suffered injuries in the Khan Younis area in southern Gaza on April 6, Hamas’s Al-Qassam Brigades claimed. The fatalities were reportedly caused by a series of ambushes by Hamas’s armed wing Al-Qassam Brigades. The first ambush took place in the Al-Zanna area in the east of the city and the second in the Al-Amal neighbourhood in the west.
