Israel’s intensified bombardment of Rafah has killed over a dozen members of one family, as per reports. Rafah residents told Reuters that Israeli air strikes hit the city, with naval boats opening fire on beachfront areas as well. Local residents also say Israeli tanks had advanced west from Khan Younis into Al-Mawasi where IDF had told Palestinians to seek shelter. The aid group Doctors Without Borders said that two people were killed in Gaza’s Al-Mawasi area. They were killed when a building housing staff in the Gaza Strip was struck during an Israeli operation in an area.
